South High, Becker students team on media design program

WORCESTER – Video games are not just a game anymore for South High Community School students. Since March 3, South High and Becker College students have been teaming up in the Interactive Media Design Mentoring Program, and both sides have been loving the experience.

The collaboration was sparked by First Night Worcester. Howard McGinn, executive coordinator of First Night, said that First Night has a history of working with South High and was aware of Becker video game program’s popularity. Becker has been ranked as a top undergraduate school to study game design by the Princeton Review and was ranked ninth in the world in 2015. Mr. McGinn couldn’t help seizing the opportunity.
