MA Cultural Council Awards Over $200K to Worcester and Boylston Communities

On Wednesday, Senator Harriette L. Chandler (D-Worcester) announced that the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) awarded grants totaling $205,300 to cultural organizations, schools, and communities in Worcester and Boylston.

Additionally, the MCC granted $133,700 in funding for the 1st Worcester District’s local cultural councils. The grants are a part of MCC’s $12 million statewide investment in the nonprofit cultural sector, which benefits from a $2 million increase to its state appropriation by the Legislature in August.
