Who’s on First. It’s true – The Who tribute band Who are You will be playing at First Night Worcester 2016, with a show scheduled from 9 to 9:45 p.m. Dec. 31 in Tuckerman Hall. It will be the first time the band, whose members come from Western Massachusetts, has performed in Worcester. Continue reading
WORCESTER – First Night Worcester 2016 came in like a lion – at least on Tuckerman Hall stage.
A fiery red and white costume Chinese Lion Dance combined flashes of acrobatics and symbolism in a performance by The Southeast Asian Coalition “Youth Effect” that opened the First Night evening festivities Thursday in the venerable hall. Outside a short while later, two horses pulling a packed wagon of people could be seen traveling along Tuckerman Street and then turning right onto Salisbury Street. Continue reading
