The Sentient Web – Fantasy meets Science. Based on the Earth’s extraordinary Mycelium Internet created millions of years ago and recently discovered by Scientist Paul Stamets. Our story explores the sentient web between nature’s own Hyphae network and our human minds axons, dendrites suggesting a filial bond we have been unaware of except in our deep subconscious. Thought provoking, presented in Fantasty abstract describing nature’s own answers to healing the earth from humankind’s own destructive hands. Listening and hearing what nature already has in place if we will only take the time to stop and listen. Choreography by Francoise Voranger and Joanna Duncan and inspired by visionary mycological researcher/inventor Paul Stamets who illuminates how fungi, particularly mushrooms, offer uniquely powerful, practical solutions we can implement now to boost the biosphere’s immune system and equip us with benign breakthrough mycotechnologies to accelerate the transition to a restored world. Arts and the Sciences hand in hand.
